Thank you to the National Parenting Education Network - NPEN for collaborating with organizations like API to raise the message that parenting education is for everyone. Parenting knowledge and skills benefit individual families, communities, and society as a whole and are worth community investment. For many parents, they are unaware that there is help and that support and skills make a difference. Others feel stigma around seeking parenting help; fear being judged and relate asking for assistance as a sign of being a ‘bad’ parent. API helps parents receive help and find free local peer support and connection, offers Attached at the Heart Parenting Education Program classes, trains and supports facilitators and educators, and connects families to local professional support because #ParentingEducationMatters and #ParentsMatter.
