USBC strengthens breastfeeding programs
"While the USBC team submitted funding requests and met with the offices of Senators and Representatives serving on Appropriations Committees, our mighty coalition came together with a joint letter signed by more than 190 organizations! Meanwhile, supporters sent thousands of messages to their Senators and Representative asking them to support this important funding.
Thanks to our collective efforts, the Fiscal Year 2022 budget includes $9.75M for the CDC Hospitals Promoting Breastfeeding program, an increase of $250K from the Fiscal Year 2021 enacted level!
