August API Reads -- Come Join Us
We are finishing up reading the book titled Parenting Without Power Struggles by Susan Stiffelman. So far we’ve read about how to get your kids to cooperate, how to help kids avoid depression and anxiety and genuinely be happy, being present and mindful. We'll finish out reading about empowering kids and being an example to your kids. We are also voting on which book to read next. The choices are "Kids, Parents, and Power Struggles", "Kids Are Worth It", and "Simplicity Parenting". Come vote to have a voice in which book we read next.
The August reading schedule will be as follows:
- July 26-Aug 1: Chapter 11
- Aug 2-8: Chapter 12
- Aug 9-15: Chapter 13
- Aug 16-22: Wrap-up
