Dear Reader,

You Rock the World!

Spending the weekend with La Leche League coFounder Marian Tompson, Attachment Parenting authors Bill and Martha Sears, and many other incredible speakers in a once-in-a-lifetime event--with friends and cake--made celebrating 25 years really rock!

We learned in person about so much wonderful work being done to support families. How everyone is meeting the needs of breastfeeding and parenting families in our communities was so inspiring!

We recognized Marian and Isabelle Fox with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their work supporting parents and advocating for children--read more about this presentation at the API Link below.

Thank you to all of our conference speakers and panelists, our donors and exhibitors, and our conference committee and volunteers!

We invite you to enjoy all the photos, videos, and presentations from our time together - from the music and magic with the kids, to talks on breastfeeding and attachment, panels on discipline and birth and more, to our incredible time with author Rebecca Wells and singer/songwriter Gary Nicholson on Friday and Saturday evenings!

API is featured in this study as described in the recently published research abstract "Mothers Affiliated with a Positive Parenting Program [Attachment Parenting International] Report Rearing their Children Differently" by Margaret M. Smith and George W. Holden for the Journal of Child and Family Studies.
Have a Group Offering AP Support?
API supports all groups wanting to promote API Principles. API is taking this further by now making all of its information openly available. To begin with, API is inviting all API Principle-espousing groups to list their group and meeting information. If you would like to include your group, click here to complete this form about your group and meeting times, also affirming the group supports the API Principles. Group events will appear on the API homepage, as well as the group searchable site at www.attachmentparenting.org/groups. Groups are offered an "API Principles support badge" to post on their pages to demonstrate their support to parents.
A listing in the API group and event does not imply API approval or responsibility for groups. Parents should validate group activity against API Principles and other resources found on the API website.
